What is the difference between this and the BaZi marriage tool?

This page is the foundational chart: just the four pillars and the elements. The marriage tool builds on the same engine and adds compatibility scoring, AI narrative, and a paid full report.

Why does my chart look different from another website?

BaZi schools differ on solar-term boundaries (节气) versus calendar-month splits, and on hour-pillar rules near 23:00. We use tyme4ts which follows the canonical solar-term boundary rule. A reading from another tool using a different rule may shift one pillar.

Is the day-master archetype deterministic?

Yes — same birth date and time of day always yield the same day master and the same archetype text. The text covers the 10 stems (甲/乙/丙/丁/戊/己/庚/辛/壬/癸) with parallel English / 简体 / 繁体 copy.
